Overview & Responsibilities

The Fanatical Support for AWS team for EMEA is based in the UK and provides industry leading Fanatical Support™ to Rackspace customers as part of a global team.

The team consists of technical experts who work with Customer during Onboarding to build customer solutions in AWS.  This team works across our entire customer base from small and medium business through to Enterprise and they cover the range of technologies across the AWS portfolio.

At Rackspace we pride ourselves on our ability to deliver fanatical support - this means our support team blend technical expertise and strong customer oriented professional skills.  Being successful in this role requires:

  • Understanding of AWS technologies and how they can be provisioned at scale
  • Ability to learn new technologies and products specific to AWS
  • Partnering with senior technical Rackers & service delivery managers to deliver fanatical customer experiences
  • Strong communication skills – written & verbal
  • Developing of new and improved ways to scale the team
  • Sharing your knowledge with other Rackers effectively

  • Technical progression of AWS Customer Builds during Onboarding
  • Drive strong customer satisfaction (NPS) through Fanatical Support
  • Ownership of AWS Customer Builds, including collaboration with other teams and escalation
