Overview & Responsibilities

As an online sales executive, your primary responsibilities will include responding to online sales enquiries, processing sales orders and developing leads via online chat, email and inbound and outbound phone calls. In this position, we will train you on our sales process, the hosting industry, and how to sell competitively while delivering high-quality online sales service resulting in new customers and leads for sales teams.  You will be expected to generate high quality leads through proactive outbound methods including campaigns and trade shows whilst also closing small dedicated deals and email opportunities.  As an Online Sales exec you will be expected to progress to be able to guide and motivate junior members of the team.




  1. Meet and exceed targets. Leads and opportunities.
  2. Respond to customer queries via live chat, email, incoming and outgoing phone calls and site submissions.
  3. Management of the quality and quantity of overall deliverables (KPI’s etc) throughout sales process including a strong emphasis of peer review of others output.
  4. Sign up new cloud and email customers
  5. Effective pipeline and lead / opportunity management



  • Internet and business savvy with a proficient knowledge of typing and MS Office programs.
  • Must be able to generate and qualify new customer leads.
  • Experience of working in a target driven environment.
  • Can demonstrate and has a willingness to help with the development of team members.
  • Excellent rapport building skills via the phone, chat, email and face to face.
  • Self Motivator, willingness to learn and understand full product portfolio.
  • Ability to manage multiple work streams and prioritise to reach target.
  • Superior follow-up skills.
  • Experience of a Telemarketing/tele sales environment is preferable but not required.

  1. Educated to degree level or equivalent and/or relevant commercial experience.
