    Overview & Responsibilities

    The sales strategy, analytics & operations team’s purpose is to provide analytical insight to assist the strategic planning and operational activities of the sales organization by having ownership of the development, management and administration of the sales systems.

     

    The main purpose of this role will be to focus on one of the key work streams and to assist in driving strategic thinking, analysis, insights and system efficiencies for the sales organization. Based on these tools, he/she will provide recommendations on strategic sales initiatives and company’s expansion projects to enable decision making at the executive level. The chosen candidate will own the general administration of Salesforce.com products as well as Rackspace Quoting tool, provide technical support and troubleshoot application related issues. Leverage analytical tools to assess and translate findings into business actions that lead to revenue generating projects and improvements on the business performance.

     

    JOB REQUIREMENTS:

     

    Operations

    • SFDC – Case resolution and dashboard design (what should the sales reps/managers be looking at)
    • Act as lead for one of the sales core systems – relationship with process team and sales floor

    Reporting & Analytics

    • Weekly sales trading dashboard
    • MH & Cloud Revenue
    • Monthly sales operations deck
    • Rep performance metrics
    • Assist analyst manager/head of SA&O with periodic reporting

    Insight & Advisory

    • Continue the development of cloud metrics on daily operational business
    • Sales team structure – update quota, hierarchy, lead flow and account management
    • Assist analyst manager/head of SA&O with ad-hoc analysis
    • Maintain Managed Hosting sales and marketing operational metrics
    • Report on when we succeeded, what did the segment look like?

    Qualifications

    • Bachelors Degree (Preferred)
    • HighSchool Diploma or equivalent
    • Certified Salesforce Administrator or Developer (Highly Desired)
    • Minimum of 2 years of Salesforce Administration (Required)
    • Self starter that takes ownership of issues and drives them towards a conclusion
    • Able to succeed in a fast paced, high-growth and fairly unstructured work environment

    Technical/Professional Skills

    • Intermediate/advanced level of understanding of excel
    • Track record of use to manipulate management & operational systems
    • Track record of interacting with all levels of management
    • Track record in data analysis (through work)
    • SQL knowledge (beneficial)
