    Overview & Responsibilities

    The Marketing Program Manager is focused on growing our customer base of users developing and deploying on the cloud platforms we support. The Marketing Program Manager is responsible for driving both acquisition and existing customer base demand and revenue growth for managed services in the UK. This position will work closely with sales, support, product, and critically the central business unit teams in the UK and US to build and execute marketing programmes to drive this growth for the local region.

     

    Job Requirements:

     

    • Collaborates cross functionally with global product marketing, marketing operations, and sales teams to develop campaign narratives, messaging, and tactics.
    • Responsible for planning, delivering, monitoring, and enhancing marketing programs in line with business objectives.
    • Translates go-to-market strategies and identified opportunities into actionable and measurable marketing programs.
    • Provides clear visibility into the financial performance of Rackspace UK’s product line and the key factors influencing those results.
    • Provides regular updates back to the business of performance against financial targets and actions in progress concerning those results.
    • Ensures campaigns are executed on-time, accurately, and successfully. Plans, designs, and executes marketing programs to drive customer interest and demand.
    • Manages the execution and measurement of marketing campaigns, develops marketing materials, and interacts with, and analyzes, reports from our internal CRM and marketing automation systems.
    • Develops, maintains, and manages program schedules.
    • Proactively monitors campaign impact, effectiveness, and market penetration rates to formulate recommendations to improve results. Tests new marketing initiatives to improve results.
    • Recognizes and shares data trends and recommends best practices based on successful campaigns. Recommends new tools to better the overall marketing process.

    Qualifications

    • Excellent knowledge of the program management process, including segmentation and targeting.
    • Strong knowledge of CRM and marketing automation systems such as Salesforce.com and Marketo.
    • Strong knowledge of, and the ability to apply, the principles of market segmentation, brand management, marketing communications, and database marketing.
    • Drives clear communication, outstanding written, verbal communication and presentation skills. Ability to speak publicly to both small and large groups.
    • Highly motivated, energetic individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and comes with startup 'anything and everything' mentality.
    • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to establish positive relationships with team members.
    • Excellent attention to detail.
    • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
