    Overview & Responsibilities

    The EMEA Sales Operations Senior Business Manager will have overall responsibility and accountability for increasing sales effectiveness through the management and delivery of sales operational cadence and rigour with respect to their assigned region. This is a high profile role supporting the VP of Sales as a ‘chief of staff’ and driving the sales leaders in their day to day operations, spearheading initiatives that drive governance, efficiencies and sales performance improvement to ultimately achieve sales targets.

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Responsible for driving regional sales operational excellence
    • Own design and content of Monthly Business Reviews
    • Drive sales forecast cadence ensuring predictability and accuracy KPIs are met
    • Facilitate continuous improvement by identifying and executing on opportunities for sales process enhancements, collaborating with key internal stakeholders such as finance and effectively managing expectations
    • Own key weekly, monthly and quarterly operational processes, such as lead management, ROE compliance, pipeline management and quota planning.
    • Design reports and dashboards to enable sales leadership to better understand their business and empower them to act accordingly by providing clear insight into leading business indicators
    • Coordinate and drive excellence across the sales operations analyst function
    • Drive thorough understanding of sales methodology and process
    • Point of contact between sales leaders and cross functional areas such as finance, marketing, etc.
    • Partner with global sales operations to align on sales processes and implement global initiatives
    • Partner with finance and revenue operations to ensure booking rules are adhered to and fit for purpose
    • Maintain a clear focus on the client conversation and Rackspace value proposition in everything that we do to enable the sales teams across EMEA
    • International travel required

    Qualifications

    • A relevant degree coupled with 10 years+ of mid to senior level experience in sales operations/sales/business operations in a fast-paced environment
    • Exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills
    • Experienced collaborator with ability to influence across multiple functions within a ‘one team’ environment
    • A professional background including experience in sales forecasting and reporting
    • Proven implementation of successful sales methodology and process
    • Strong finance, mathematical and analytical ability required
    • Exceptional Excel and SFDC skills required. Knowledge of other tools such as Qlikview, Tableau and PowerBI desired
    • Motivated self-starter with high energy and a professional, consultative and can-do approach
    • Prior experience in IT services industry desired
    • Fluency in other European languages valued
